The Egg Is Already Cracked — And It Landed Exactly Where It Should
Meet the FDMINI Miniature Spilled Egg Collection — a raw egg caught the moment after it hit the plate. The white spreads out in an irregular, thin-edged pool with a wet high-gloss surface and tiny suspended bubbles; the yolk sits domed and slightly off-centre, catching a single sharp highlight. Beside it, two empty shell halves lie where they were dropped, matte and finely grained against all that gloss.
That contrast is the whole point. Chalky shell next to liquid-look resin is what a real cracked egg does, and it's what makes this hold up under a macro lens where flat printed props fall apart.
Eight styles to choose from across shell colors and spill types: single-yolk spill with shells, double-yolk spill with shells, shell-and-drip with a trailing runoff, and shell-free spill — a clean pool of white and yolk with no shell at all, ideal for a frying pan or a mixing bowl. Shell colors run from Classic White and Blush Pink to Farm Brown and Duck Egg Blue.
Drop one straight into a miniature skillet, stage it on a worktop mid-bake, tip it over the rim of a bowl, or scatter a few across a baking scene so it reads like something is actually happening.
Why makers & collectors love them
- Made for 1:6 scale – ideal for BJD, Blythe, and 1:6 dollhouse and diorama kitchen and baking setups.
- A pre-made spill you can just place – no glue, no resin pouring, no drying time; the pool is already cast and sits flat.
- Wet-look resin white and yolk – irregular thin edges, tiny bubbles and a domed yolk, not a flat painted disc.
- Shell halves included on most styles – matte, finely textured, with jagged hand-broken rims.
- 8 styles to choose from – single yolk, double yolk, drip trail and shell-free, across four shell colors.
- Fits pans, bowls and flat surfaces – the shell-free style drops neatly into miniature cookware.
- A charming little gift – lovely for miniature food makers, doll collectors, and dollhouse decorators.
Perfect for

FAQ
What styles are available?
There are 8 styles across four shell colors — Classic White, Blush Pink, Farm Brown and Duck Egg Blue — and four spill types: single yolk with shells, double yolk with shells, shell with a drip trail, and a shell-free spill.
Are they sold individually or as a set?
Individually
Are the shell halves attached to the spill, or separate?
They're attached. Each piece is cast as a single unit — the shell halves and the spilled white and yolk are one solid part, so the whole arrangement holds its shape and nothing can shift or go missing.
How is this different from your other miniature eggs?
This is the spilled version — the egg has already been cracked open and the white has spread across the surface. The mid-crack version is a joined shell caught in the act of breaking with the white dripping down, and the half-shell version is two separate bowl-shaped halves that sit flat. Many collectors use all three in one scene to tell a sequence.
Will it fit inside a miniature frying pan?
The shell-free style is designed to drop straight into 1:6 cookware.
Does it sit flat?
Yes — the spill is cast with a flat underside and sits stable on plates, worktops and pan bases without any support.
What scale do they fit?
They're sized for 1:6 scale scenes, which suits most BJD, Blythe, and 1:6 dollhouse and diorama kitchen setups.
What are they made of?
Resin clay shell with a resin egg white and yolk — handmade, so each piece has slight natural variation.
Are they safe for children?
No. These are small display miniatures, not toys — keep away from children under 3 due to choking risk.
Miniature spilled cracked eggs in 8 styles — single yolk, double yolk, with or without shell halves. Realistic resin, sized for 1:6 dollhouse & BJD kitchens.
