What is 1:6 Scale?
At 1:6 scale, every inch of miniature represents 6 inches in real life. A standard dinner plate (12 inches in real life) becomes 2 inches in 1:6 scale. This is the scale Mattel designed Barbie around in 1959 — and it remains the global standard for fashion dolls today.
